Schools to reopen from Feb 13 in Kathmandu valley

Kathmandu: The odd and even system on vehicles has been removed in Kathmandu Valley. In addition, the schools will reopen from February 13.

As per the recommendation of COVID-19 Crisis Management Coordination Center (CCMCC), the administration offices of all the three districts of the Kathmandu Valley (Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur) have decided to remove odd and even system on vehicles starting from Sunday midnight.

Likewise, educational activities including school, college and tuition center will be conducted from February 13.

However, in the case of students who have not completed 12 years of age, it has been said that arrangements should be made to conduct classes in rotation or shift system in coordination with the local level.

It is mentioned in the notice that all the examinations can be conducted in Z shape from February 13.

Similarly, prevention, control, treatment of corona and general public must fully comply with public health, must wear a mask, must have a vaccine card (even if it is on a mobile phone) while going out of the house.

Similarly, the Kathmandu administration office has stated that those coming to Nepal from abroad or those who have been in contact tracing of Corona must stay at home quarantine for at least five days even if they have a negative report.
