Kathmandu: Organized by the South Asian Football Federation (SAF), the SAAF Championship is set to take place in Bangladesh in September next year.
The working committee meeting of SAAF held on Monday through virtual media has made various decisions including the date of SAAF championship. The championship will be held in Bangladesh from September 14 to 25, 2021. But that is likely to change in considering the next year’s AFC qualifiers.
The meeting has discussed about the Congress, Electoral Code and the 2021 competition. In addition, the meeting has passed the budget and audit report.
The SAAF meeting has also fixed the dates of various youth competitions. The SAAF U-16 SAAF Women’s Championship will be held in Bangladesh from August 18 to 27, 2021. Similarly, the SAF U-19 Women’s Championship will be held from July 13 to 22 and the U-15 SAAF from October 1 to 10.
The SAAF U18 Championship will be held from October 15 to 24.
The venue of other competitions has not been decided except the clean championship.
Due to the Corona epidemic, this year’s youth competitions, including the clean championship, were canceled.
