Kathmandu: The Ministry of Finance has secured a budget of Rs 8.11 billion for the local level elections scheduled for April.
Speaking on the sidelines of a regular press meet organized by the Election Commission on Thursday, Election Commission spokesperson Shaligram Sharma Poudel said that the commission has secured a budget of Rs. 8.11 billion.
Stating that 80 political parties have been registered for the local level election and their study is underway, he informed that the names of the political parties participating in the election will be published soon.
