Rainfall in Kathmandu

Kathmandu: Kathmandu received normal rainfall on Saturday afternoon. There has been normal snowfall in some hilly regions including Chandragiri hill.

According to the Weather Forecast Division, light rain and snow are falling in different parts of the country. Light rain has fallen in some parts of western Nepal while light snow has fallen in high mountainous areas and heavy snowfall in mountainous areas.

There will be light rain at night in some places of Provinces 1, 2, Bagmati and Gandaki while light snowfall is expected in some places in the high hilly and mountainous terrain of Province 1, Bagmati and Gandaki.

As soon as it started raining in the capital, snow fell in Chandragiri. Those who reached Chandragiri by cable car are enjoying playing in the snow.

With the snowfall, the number of people going to board the Chandragiri cable car has started increasing. With the rain, the temperature in Kathmandu has increased. The snowfall in Chandragiri has made the local area look beautiful.
