Kathmandu: An agreement has been reached between the government and the protesting teachers.
Communication and Information Technology Minister and Government Spokesperson Rekha Sharma informed that the agreement has been signed between government and the teacher at the meeting held at the Ministry of Home Affairs on Friday.
The teachers were protesting against the education bill. After the agreement, all programs of the protest have been withdrawn.
The teachers have been protesting since last Wednesday expressing their disagreement with the proposed school education bill. They had 18 different demands in the bill.
