Prohibitory order extends in Kathmandu valley with flexible rules

Kathmandu: The prohibitory order in the Kathmandu Valley has been extended for seven days.

A meeting of the chief district officers of Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur districts of the Kathmandu Valley on Sunday decided to extend the prohibitory order by relaxing some rules.

As per the decision, private vehicles will be allowed to operate while public transport will not be operated. Similarly, banks and financial sector, fancy shops, rental shops and other non-crowded businesses will be allowed to operate.

The latest restrictions will expire on Monday night.
