Process of bringing additional 6 mn vaccines from China begins

Kathmandu: The government has started a process to bring additional six million doses of corona vaccine from the Chinese company Sinopharm.

Issuing a statement on Friday, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population Dr. Krishna Poudel said that an agreement has been reached with Sinopharm Company to purchase six million doses of vaccine.

Similarly, 1.6 million doses of vaccine provided by China through the Covax facility will be available by mid-October. Likewise, one million doses of Covishield procured from India, will be received by mid-October.
