Kathmandu: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has met the former captain of the Nepali cricket team Paras Khadka. During a meeting at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar on Saturday, Prime Minister Deuba expressed his commitment to assist in the development of cricket.
Stating that Nepalese will never forget every success achieved by Nepali cricket in the last two decades, Deuba thanked Paras for inspiring them to dream big in cricket. Deuba wrote on Twitter, ‘May success is achieved in the second innings of life to make Nepal and Nepalese proud.”
Cricketer Paras Khadka also thanked Prime Minister Deuba for his commitment to helping in the development of cricket. Paras, who resigned as captain of the Nepali team last year, announced his retirement from international cricket last week.
