Kathmandu: President Bidya Devi Bhandari will pay an official visit to the People’s Republic of Iceland.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, she will visit Iceland from November 7 to 12 to participate in the ‘Women Political Leaders (WPL)’ program, a global network of women politicians.
President Bhandari will lead the 18-member Nepali delegation on a visit to Iceland. Some formal programs will also be organized during the President’s visit.
According to the ministry, President Bhandari will also receive the ‘Women Political Trailblazer Award’ during the visit.
