President Bhandari leaves for 6-day Iceland trip

Kathmandu: President Bidhya Devi Bhandari has left for Iceland. President Bhandari left for Iceland on Monday evening to participate in the ‘Women Political Leaders (WPL)’, a global network of women politicians.

President Bhandari, leading an 18-member Nepali delegation, has gone on a visit to Iceland.

Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun, National Assembly Speaker Ganesh Prasad Timilsina and others arrived at Tribhuvan International Airport to bid farewell to President Bhandari.

It is said that President Bhandari will also receive the ‘Women Political Trailblazer Award’.
