Kathmandu: Today, the traffic in Kathmandu remained chaotic throughout the day. People suffered. However, the CPN (Maoist) leaders of the Prachanda Nepal group were enthusiastic about the wave of protests against the government’s unconstitutional move.
Because the demonstration of power called by the CPN-Prachanda Madhav group in Kathmandu against the dissolution of the House of Representatives was attended by people, probably giving a glimpse of the success of the people’s movement. The CPN (Maoist) had even brought people from the districts around Kathmandu in vehicles.
However, the CPN (Maoist) has knocked on the door of the Prime Minister by bringing the expected people in Kathmandu. Addressing the gathering, both Prachanda and Madhav Kumar Nepal said that today’s presence was the strength of the people. Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal termed this presence as a people’s movement.
He even mentioned that it was just casting. Another president, Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, said he had seen the largest demonstration since the second people’s movement. He said that such a movement has been going on for the last 12 or 14 years.
Demonstrations were taken out from various places in Kathmandu for today’s meeting. The procession was led by top leaders. The procession was jammed due to the large number of people.
The procession, which was scheduled to reach Bhrikuti Mandap via Putalisadak, Bhadrakali, Sahid Gate and Sundhara, had to stay where it was due to traffic jam. After that, the assembly has been completed by constructing a huge stage along the wall of Tudi Khel in front of Bhrikuti Mandap.
