Kathmandu: In the one quintal gold smuggling case, the Revenue Investigation Department has arrested Surendra Tamang, known as Naresh, who have been arranging warehouses for gold management.
The department arrested Tamang on Wednesday. The department is currently investigating his contacts.
With this, the number of people arrested in the gold smuggling case has reached 17.
A quintal of gold was released a week ago after passing the customs check at Tribhuvan International Airport.
On the basis of special information, the team of Revenue Investigation Department recovered the gold.
