Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli held a meeting with his Indian counterpart, Narendra Modi, in Bangkok, Thailand, on Friday on the sidelines of the sixth BIMSTEC Summit.
The meeting took place following the conclusion of the sixth summit of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC).
Prime Minister Oli, who departed for Bangkok on Tuesday, is leading the Nepali delegation at the summit.
This visit marks Oli’s first official trip to Thailand and the first visit by a Nepali prime minister in 65 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
