Kathmandu: The ruling five-party alliance has decided to take forward the Citizenship Bill under consideration in the parliament.
At a meeting of the coalition held in Baluwatar on Wednesday, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba proposed to take forward the Citizenship Bill.
The government has moved ahead to solve the problem of citizenship saying that some citizens have to be stateless even though their parents are Nepali citizens.
