Kathmandu: Passengers flying from Kathmandu to Japan’s Narita and Hong Kong now have to reach the airport four hours before the flight time.

Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has informed that the airport time has been extended by one hour. Earlier, it was a rule to reach the airport three hours earlier for international flights. During that period, the aircraft could be boarded after completing the check-in process inside the airport.

However, due to the epidemic of covid 19, more necessary details have to be checked, so now passengers flying from national flag carrier to Hong Kong and Japan have to go four hours ahead.

Recently, the corona virus infection has been confirmed in the passengers flying from Nepal, and Nepal Airlines has started tightening rule for these destinations.

NAC has also made it mandatory for passengers to have PCR negative report tested at government labs only.
