Parliamentary committee decides to ask clarification from PM Deuba for not attending the meeting

Kathmandu: The International Relations Committee under the House of Representatives has decided to ask Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba the reason for not attending the meeting.

A meeting of the committee held on Sunday decided to ask Prime Minister Deuba the reason for his absence.

The committee called on him to discuss the State Partnership Program (SPP) proposed by the United States and Prime Minister Deuba’s visit to the United States.

However, Prime Minister Deuba had informed at the last minute that he could not attend the meeting through his secretariat.
