Kathmandu: OPPO on Monday launched its flagship foldable smartphone, the Find N5, in Nepal, positioning it as the world’s thinnest and lightest book-style foldable device.
At just 8.93mm thick and weighing 229 grams, the Find N5 features an 8.12-inch inner AMOLED display, the largest in its category, and a 6.62-inch cover screen for daily use. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform and houses a 5,600mAh silicon-carbon battery, the longest-lasting in any foldable to date, with 80W wired and 50W wireless fast charging support.
The device is the first foldable with IPX9 water resistance and incorporates OPPO’s new Titanium Flexion Hinge, which the company says is 36% stronger and TÜV Rheinland certified for durability.
For imaging, OPPO has partnered with Hasselblad to bring a quad-lens camera system with wide, ultra-wide, zoom, and periscope lenses, along with pro-grade features such as Hasselblad Portrait Mode, RAW capture, and Dolby Vision HDR video recording at 4K/60fps.
Running on ColorOS 15, the Find N5 introduces AI-driven features including AI Call Summary, Dual-Screen Interpreter, object removal and image enhancement tools, and cross-device integration with Mac and iOS.
The OPPO Find N5 is priced at Rs 2,49,999 for the 16GB RAM + 512GB storage variant and is now available at OPPO retail outlets across Nepal. Customers can purchase the phone through 0% EMI plans with a 40% down payment and 12-month installments.
