Kathmandu: The team led by the executive president of the Non-Resident Nepali Association, Dr. Badri KC, met with Chief Election Commissioner Dinesh Kumar Thapalia.
In the meeting at the election commission, Badri KC, the executive president of the association, expressed interest in the latest progress in the implementation of the voting rights of Nepalis living abroad.
In that meeting, Chief Election Commissioner Thapalia informed that the process of collecting the voter list of Nepalis living abroad has started and the preparation for going abroad to collect the list has also reached its final stage.
The commission said that it will collect the voter list by cooperating and coordinating with the government agencies of the respective countries and non-resident Nepalis.
