NRN Nepal Development Fund set to launch this month

Kathmandu: The NRN Nepal Development Fund, amounting to NPR 10 billion, will be implemented starting this month. The agreement was reached during a discussion at the Finance Ministry involving Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel, Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) President Dr. Badri KC, and Founder President Dr. Upendra Mahato, among others.

The Ministry has stated that necessary procedures to launch the Development Fund will be completed within the third week of Bhadra (August/September).

This initiative, driven by the coordination between the Nepalese government and the proactive efforts of the NRNA, aims to invest in infrastructure development in Nepal. The NRN Nepal Development Fund Limited will be funded with 5% investment from the Nepalese government and 95% from non-resident Nepalis.
