Kathmandu: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has reduced the price of petroleum products.
The corporation reduced the prices with effect from Monday midnight.
According to the corporation, the price of petrol and diesel/kerosene has been reduced by Rs 7.50, Rs 6 and Rs 5 per liter for the first, second and third category respectively.
According to this, petrol has been fixed at 167 rupees 50 paise per liter in the border areas with India to 170 rupees in Kathmandu, Pokhara and Dipayal areas.
The price of diesel and kerosene has remained unchanged from Rs 147 to Rs 50 paise to Rs 150.
This price is applicable in the area up to 15 kilometers from the corporation’s depot.
This decision was made on the basis of the new purchase price list received from Indian Oil Corporation Limited.
According to the corporation, the department has reduced the domestic aviation fuel by 14 rupees per liter and the retail price of international aviation fuel by 115 US dollars per kiloliter.
