Nepal’s second defeat in AFC Under-23 qualifiers

Kathmandu: Nepal has faced its second defeat in the AFC Under-23 Asian Cup qualifiers.

In last night’s match, Nepal lost to host Tajikistan 6-0 and suffered its second consecutive defeat. With the loss to Tajikistan, Nepal is out of the group stage.

Meanwhile, this is Tajikistan’s second consecutive victory. Earlier, Tajikistan had defeated Lebanon in the first match. Now Nepal will play its last game against Lebanon on Sunday.

The top team in the group will play in the AFC Under-23 Asian Cup. Similarly, the best four teams from the second team will also be selected in the Under-23 Asian Cup.
