Kathmandu: The Nepali team has left for Bangladesh on Thursday to prepare for the ICC Women’s Twenty20 Cricket World Cup qualifiers. The Nepali team will prepare for a week in Bangladesh.
Nepal Cricket Association (NCA) President Chatur Bahadur Chand informed that the Nepali team will play four practice matches while staying in Bangladesh. The Nepali team will practice in Bangladesh till November 11.
The captain of the Nepali team is Rubina Chhetri. Other players in the team are Sita Ranamagar, Karuna Bhandari, Dali Bhatt, Indu Barma, Sarita Magar, Jyoti Pandey, Saraswati Chaudhary, Kajal Shrestha, Sabnam Rai, Kabita Kunwar, Apsari Begam, Kabita Joshi and Sangeeta Rai.
The ICC Women’s Twenty20 Cricket World Cup qualifiers will be held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from November 19 to 28. UAE, Bhutan, Kuwait, Hong Kong and Malaysia along with Nepal will compete in the competition.
