Kathmandu: Now, even Nepali citizens can fly by chartered flight. According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), such a circular has come from the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation on Wednesday.
The government has stopped regular flights and allowed chartered flights. At present, only foreign nationals are allowed to fly on chartered flights. According to the CAAN, according to the new decision, Nepalis will now also get permission to go abroad from Nepal.
This will benefit Nepali citizens stranded here, who were supposed to go on their foreign employment. However, the businessmen have requested to open regular flights by giving priority to Nepal Airlines Corporation. They have made such a request saying that there will be a high price for chartered flights.
