Kathmandu: Nepal Telecom (NT) has decided to provide free SIM cards to senior citizens above 60 years of age from Friday to the 25th of this month.
On the occasion of the International Senior Citizens’ Day to be celebrated globally on October 1, organized by the United Nations, Nepal Telecom will provide free SIM to the senior citizens of the country as a mark of respect.
This SIM will have a balance of Rs 10 and will be able to talk for 40 minutes, send 20 messages and use 60 MB of data for one month.
For a free SIM card, one copy of passport size photo, identity and age disclosure certificate (such as citizenship certificate, senior citizen’s identity card) should be attached.
