Nepal Super League football from April 24

Kathmandu: The Nepal Super League (NSL) football tournament is scheduled to begin from April 24.

Organizing a press meet today, Nepal Sports and Event Management (NSEM) and All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) announced the schedule for the league.

The organizer Nepal Sports and Event Management has informed that the teams of the city will participate in the league representing the provinces and the team will be selected through auction.

Chairman of the ANFA Karma Tshering Sherpa said that the league is being tested as a professional league. He also said that the main league of the country would be the Martyrs’ Memorial League.

There will be 19 games based on the NSSL Round Robin League. Similarly, each team will have 20 players. The organizers are preparing to make public the name of the team and the information of the team owner in a special ceremony.

Players will be separated from A to D category. Sherpa said that ANFA has given two months for this league and during that time clubs will be able to release their players for the league. The league will be held at Dasharath Stadium.
