Kathmandu: Nepal is playing against Australia in the final match of FIFA World Cup 2022 and Asian Cup 2023 today. The match will be played at the Jaber Al Ahmed International Stadium in Kuwait at 10:15 pm.
Nepal’s head coach Abdullah Almutairi has said that the team will perform well in the match against Australia. He also said that the rest of the young players in the game against Australia can also get a chance to play in the match.
Nepal has lost the chance to reach the third round of the World Cup qualifiers though. But the possibility of reaching the third round of the Asian Cup qualifiers through Nepal play-off remains. Australia, which has played five World Cups, wants to reach the third round of the World Cup by defeating Nepal.
Australia is top of Group B with 18 points. Australia is the only team in the group to remain undefeated. Nepal is in fourth place. Nepal has added only six points.
