Kathmandu: Nepal lost to UAE by 25 runs in the second match of the four-nation series.
Following the UAE’s target of 193 runs, Nepal scored only 167 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.
Dipendra Singh Airy contributed 41 runs and Asif Sheikh contributed 24 runs for Nepal. Rohan Mustafa and Kasif Dawood of UAE took two wickets each and Junaid Siddiqui took one wicket.
UAE, who had earlier started bating after losing the toss, had scored 192 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.
In the first match of the series, Nepal defeated Oman by 6 wickets on Friday. Nepal, Oman, UAE and Ireland are participating in the four-nation series to prepare for the ICC T20 World Cup global selection.
