Kathmandu: In the first match of the SAFF U-17 Women’s Championship, Nepal lost to India.
India’s Shilji Shaji scored a hat-trick in the first match of the championship at the Mustafa Kamal Stadium in Dhaka.
In the first half, Nepal could only score one goal in the second half. The goal scored by Barsha Oli in the 54th minute became the only goal for Nepal. Similarly, in the 81st minute of the game, Pun Shilji completed a hat-trick and ensured a 4-1 victory for India.
