Nepal lose to Ireland by 16 runs

Kathmandu: Despite their excellent bowling performance, Nepal lost to Ireland by 16 runs in the last match of the four-nation T20 series.

Dipendra Singh Airy bowled the best of his career and took 4 wickets.

Chasing the target of 128 runs, Nepal lost 9 wickets in 20 overs and managed to score only 111 runs.

Batting first after losing the toss, Ireland were bowled out for 127 in the last ball of the innings.

Nepal had put pressure on Ireland from the very beginning with their excellent bowling performance.

In this game, captain Sandeep Lamichhane completed 50 wickets in T20 International cricket. He is the first Nepali bowler to take 50 wickets.
