Nepal govt to send foreign minister to bring back Nepalis from Israel

Kathmandu: Foreign Minister NP Saud himself is going to take back the Nepalis from Israel. The meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Wednesday decided to send the Foreign Minister on a Nepal Airlines flight.

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda called the heads of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, Nepal Airlines Corporation along with Tourism Minister Sudan Kirati on Wednesday morning and directed them to make arrangements to send the plane to Israel.

10 Nepalis were killed and 4 injured in an attack by the Palestinian militant group Hamas in the southern region of Israel on Saturday. One is still out of touch. The Nepali students in the tense area have been moved to a safe place by the Israeli security forces.

According to the Nepali Embassy in Israel, about 400 Nepalis have submited details to return home.
