Kathmandu: The Government of Nepal is currently engaged in discussions to lift the ban on the social media platform TikTok.
Sources from the Prime Minister’s Secretariat have confirmed that the government is exploring the possibility of removing the restriction imposed on TikTok.
The ban on TikTok was initially implemented by the government led by Pushpa Kamal Dahal on November 12, 2023.
