Kathmandu: Security analyst Chiran Jung Thapa asserted Nepal’s significant role in global security during his address at the ‘Chanakya Dialogue,’ an international security program in New Delhi.
Thapa highlighted Nepal’s direct contributions to the security arrangements of five nuclear states, as well as its involvement in securing 68 other nations worldwide.
He commended India’s successful G-20 summit but questioned Nepal’s exclusion. Thapa praised India’s achievements in space exploration and emphasized the impermanence of power, drawing from Chanakya’s Arthashastra.
Highlighting Nepal’s impact on India’s security and economy, Thapa stressed the need to further fortify the enduring ties between the two nations.
The event, inaugurated by Indian Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, saw discussions on various security and diplomatic topics attended by senior military officials from across the globe.
