Nepal clinches semifinal spot in ACC Women’s Premier Cup winning over Kuwait

Kathmandu: In a thrilling quarterfinal clash, the Nepali women’s cricket team secured its place in the semifinals of the ‘ACC Women’s Premier Cup’ by defeating Kuwait with an impressive eight-wicket victory.

The match took place at the iconic Patan Cricket Ground, where Nepal won the toss and elected to bowl. The decision proved crucial as Nepal’s formidable bowling attack put immense pressure on Kuwait from the start.

During the Kuwait innings, the Nepali bowlers displayed exceptional skill and precision. Despite their efforts, Kuwait struggled to build a substantial total and was eventually bowled out for a meager 73 runs. The crowd erupted in cheers as Nepal’s fielders celebrated each wicket, showcasing their dominance in the tournament.
