Nepal beat Malaysia in tri-nation T20

Kathmandu: Nepal has defeated Malaysia by 85 runs in the tri-nation T20 International Cricket Series.

Following the target of 224 runs given by Nepal, Malaysia was all out for 138 runs in 19 overs with five balls to spare.

Earlier, after losing the toss at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground, Nepal lost five wickets in the allotted 20 overs and scored 223 runs.

Meanwhile, Papua New Guinea (PNG) has reached the final after Malaysia lose today’s match.

Even though Malaysia and PNG have the same two points, PNG has reached the final on the basis of net run rate. Nepal has already reached the final.

The final game will be played next Monday.
