Kathmandu: Nepal has won the silver medal in the ongoing Asian Games in China.
Erika Gurung from Nepal entered the finals of the 68 kg weight group and won the silver medal in karate at the games.
Today, Nepal has won silver for the third time in the history of the Asian Games. Earlier, Taekwondo’s Savita Rajbhandari won silver for the first time in the 13th Asian Games held in Bangkok in 1998.
Similarly, the last time in 2018, the Nepalese paragliding team won the silver medal in the 18th Asian Games held in Indonesia. This is the first time Nepal bags silver in karate.
