Kathmandu: Nepal has received the ‘Fair Play’ award in SAFF Championship football.
The ‘Fair Play’ award was given to Nepal at the closing ceremony of SAFF Championship last night.
Former runner-up Nepal was eliminated from the group stage in this tournament.
Nepal lost 3-1 to Kuwait and 2-0 to India in the group stage.
Meanwhile, India won the title of SAFF Championship this year beating the invited team Kuwait 5-4 in the penalty shootout.
