Negative report of PCR and antibody test is mandatory to go to china

Kathmandu: Starting from November 4, Chinese, Nepalese and other foreign nationals traveling by air from Kathmandu to China will have to submit a negative report of Polymerase chain reaction (PCR).
In addition, a negative report of serum IGM antibody test has to be submitted. The Chinese government has implemented the policy citing that the number of imported cases has increased despite the recent decrease in China corona virus (Covid-19). Apart from Nepal, China has also implemented the rule in the United States, Russia and the United Kingdom.
According to China’s state-run media, the report has been received 48 hours before the flight arrival at the center designated by the Chinese embassy in the country concerned.
According to the Global Times, the Chinese embassies in the United States, Britain, France, Italy and Poland have implemented the rule. The number of Covid-19 has increased in these countries including Nepal.
