Nadal holds record winning Grand Slam title for 21st time

Kathmandu: Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal has set a record by winning the Grand Slam title for the 21st time.

Nadal won his 21st career title in a five-set return match against Russia’s Daniel Medvedev in the final of the Australian Open in Melbourne on Sunday.

In a competitive match, Nadal defeated Daniel Medvedev of Russia 2-6, 6-7, 6-4, 6-4, 7-5.

With this victory, Nadal has made a record of winning the same title for 21st times.

Swiss star Roger Federer and Serbian Novak Djokovic have won 20 titles each.
