Kathmandu: More than 650,000 syringes used for Pfizer vaccine against Covid-19 (Corona virus) have arrived in Nepal.

According to the Department of Health Services, 666,000 units of syringes arrived in Nepal on Tuesday through regular flights of Qatar Airlines.

Due to the lack of syringes, the vaccination campaign for children in eight districts, including the Kathmandu Valley, was affected. Despite the arrival of syringes for Pfizer vaccination, only children in three districts of Kathmandu Valley will be given Pfizer vaccine.

Earlier, the Ministry of Health had decided to give Pfizer vaccine to the children of Kavre, Chitwan, Sindhuli, Dadeldhura and Surkhet including the three districts of Kathmandu Valley.
