More than 40,000 people vaccinated

Kathmandu: ,As many as 46,197 people have been vaccinated against corona virus in Nepal on Friday. Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population Dr. Jageshwar Gautam informed.While only the people from 64 districts vaccinated on the first day of the campaign, all 77 districts were vaccinated on Friday, the ministry said.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 7,369 people have been vaccinated on the third day till Friday, while 4,650 people have been vaccinated in Province 2 and 15,641 people in Bagmati.Similarly, 7,153 people have been vaccinated in Gandaki, 4,635 in Lumbini, 2,966 in Karnali and 3,783 in the far west.

Spokesperson Gautam said that although some of the vaccinated people had a normal effect, they have not been affected for some time and complex effects have not been seen so far.The government had brought 1 million doses of vaccine provided by the government of India a few days ago.

The government plans to vaccinate 430,000 people in the first phase within the next 10 days.In the first phase, garbage collectors and drivers, ambulance and hearse drivers and co-drivers, health workers providing direct treatment or vaccination management, security personnel and volunteers at the vaccination center will be provided.

The ministry also said that the people assigned to the mortuary, health volunteers, health workers and other staff working at the international entry point, people working in the old age home and care staff and prisoners and security personnel will be vaccinated in the first phase.
