Kathmandu: Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balendra (Balen) Sah has proposed to have MDGP doctors and nurses in all 32 wards.
In Sunday’s municipal executive meeting, he proposed to keep 32 MDGP doctors and 32 nurses on contract service for the operation of ward clinics in all 32 wards.
Mayor Balen said that if a general physician can be hired instead of a MBBS doctor in the ward clinic, it will be easier to get general health advice, treatment and immediate treatment of any problem.
Similarly, Mayor Sah has also proposed to keep 32 engineers for monitoring the development work in the each ward of Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
