Kathmandu: A parliamentary committee has directed the government to take stern action against those who commit irregularities in the procurement of vaccines against covid.
A meeting of the Committee on Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation of Directive Principles, Policies and Responsibilities of the country under the Federal Parliament held at Singha Durbar on Monday directed the government to investigate the irregularities in the procurement of vaccines against corona and take strict action against the culprits.
The committee has also drawn the serious attention of the government to make proper arrangements for the necessary preparations for the third wave of covid.
During the meeting, the members of the committee had warned the government not to delay in making arrangements for vaccination of all citizens.
