Kathmandu: 22 people have died due to a landslide in Achham district.
According to District Police Office Achham, 22 people died due to landslides in Dhakari Rural Municipality, Kamalbazar Municipality and Turmakhand Rural Municipality.
Most of the dead are children.
Meanwhile, 11 people were injured in the landslide. Some of the injured are being treated at Provincial Hospital Surkhet and some at District Hospital Achham. Some have been discharged.
