Labour ministry asks application to send 100 nurses to UK

Kathmandu: The Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security has opened an application for sending Nepali nurses to the UK for employment.

As a pilot project, applications have been opened to send 100 nurses to the UK for treatment in the first phase.

The Ministry of Labor is going to send 100 nursing staff to Britain in the first phase after the Cabinet approved the action plan for the implementation of the bilateral labor agreement between the government of Nepal and the UK government.

According to a joint press release issued by the Ministry of Labor and the British Embassy, ​​Kathmandu, Nepali nurses who wish to go to the UK can apply from Friday.

The Ministry of Labor has also created a separate application portal to apply for Nepali nurses.

Nurses interested in going to UK can apply online from Friday to 2nd October.

The government is going to send nursing manpower to the UK through the ‘Government to Government (G2G) process.
