Kathmandu: German Ambassador to Nepal Dr. Thomas Prince has met Balen Sah, mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC).
Ambassador Thomas was interested in the German government’s support in waste management and asked Mayor Sah about the latest situation of waste management.
During this meeting, Sah said that for the long-term management of garbage, priority will be given to simple, easy and fast-resulting technologies.
The German government supported Kathmandu metropolis through the GTZ program for waste classification and management.
Ambassador Prince spoke about mutual cooperation and expressed his wish for cooperation in traditional music, education and promotion. He was interested in urban development, construction and management.
