Kathmandu Fun Park paid 1.7 mn tax after KMC issue ultimatum

Kathmandu: Kathmandu Fun Park has started paying taxes to the Kathmandu Metropolitan City. The park has paid 1.7 million rupees for entertainment tax to KMC.

The metropolis charges 5 percent of the entrance fee as entertainment tax. The park paid business tax of 261,000 rupees on Thursday itself.

Funpark has been paying monthly rent of Rs 555,000 to the Social Welfare Council. 10 percent of that should be paid by the council to the metropolis.

Meanwhile, the council has also not paid the restoration tax to the metropolis.
