Kathmandu: The Janakpur-Jayanagar train is all set to come into operation from Saturday.
The train will be operational after the joint inauguration by the Prime Ministers of Nepal and India on Saturday.
The train will be inaugurated at Janakpurdham railway station.
A 35-kilometer train is being operated from Kurtha in Nepal to Jayanagar in India. The train will run twice a day from Jayanagar to Kurtha.
Citizens of both countries will have to carry their national identity card to board the train as it is a two-country trip.
Nepali citizens will have to carry a citizenship certificate, passport, or voter identity card for travel.
