Israel announces 800 caregiver positions with high salaries for Nepali applicants

Kathmandu: The Government of Israel has unveiled a significant opportunity for Nepali caregivers, offering 800 positions with attractive monthly salaries exceeding Rs 200,000. The Department of Foreign Employment has initiated the application process, which will remain open online for 21 days from the date of the announcement.

Applicants must meet specific eligibility criteria to be considered for these coveted roles. Prospective candidates should be aged between 25 and 45 years, with a minimum height of 1.5 meters and a weight of at least 45 kg. Educational requirements include passing the Secondary Education Examinations (SEE) and completing either a 15-month Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) or Community Medicine Assistant (CMA) course. Alternatively, candidates may qualify with a Plus 2 level education or its equivalent, coupled with three months of caregiver training.

Additionally, applicants should not have previous work experience in Israel nor have any immediate family members currently employed there. Physical and mental fitness are essential prerequisites for fulfilling the caregiver responsibilities.

Of the total 800 positions, 500 will be allocated to primary candidates, while 300 will serve as alternates. The recruitment process emphasizes gender diversity, with 60 percent of the positions reserved for female applicants and 40 percent for male applicants.

Successful candidates will enjoy a monthly salary of 5,880 Shekels (approximately Rs 210,000), ensuring a stable and well-compensated employment opportunity in Israel. The contractual period for these positions spans five years, promising a secure career path for qualified Nepali applicants.
