Irving Everest Centennial Lions Club distributes Thanksgiving meal to homeless

Dallas: Irving Everest Centennial Lions Club (IECLC) has distributed Thanksgiving Meal for the Homeless in the DFW metroplex area today.

In association with six other local organizations, IECLC has organized and sponsored the meals for the homeless people in this area. Around 200-225 people were fed on this occasion of the upcoming United States national holiday Thanksgiving of 2020.

The local homeless people enthusiastically participated quickly and on time in these three hours long, 9 am -12 pm (local time) program. They seem festive and excited. On the same occasion one couple got married today.

Meanwhile, other participating organizations have distributed face masks, hand sanitizers, PPE, and some clothing to the homeless people.

Devi Devid Acharya, Founder of HDNP International, one of the organizers of this program said, “It is our regular program to feed the homeless people in this DFW metroplex area. We have been doing this for several years aiming at supporting homeless people.”

Likewise, the President of Irving Everest Centennial Lions Club(IECLC) Saroj Sigdel expressed his gratitude to feed the homeless people on this great festival of the United States; Thanksgiving. He said, “It is our great pleasure and opportunity to organize this kind of program jointly with local organizations in the DFW Metroplex “we serve”.
