Kathmandu: At the 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP-28) held in Dubai, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has extended an international call to safeguard the Himalayas.
Addressing the conference, the Prime Minister urged the global community to unite in protecting the Himalayan region and addressing the challenges faced by the people and settlements in the area.
Emphasizing the need to comprehend the struggles faced by Himalayan countries and their communities, he appealed to the international community for support in finding solutions to mitigate the impact of climate change on the Himalayas.
